The global parent body for academic societies in the study of religions is the International Association for the History of Religions. At a European level the European Association for the Study of Religion performs a comparable role. Finally, our sister body the British Association for the Study of Religions may be of interest to those resident in or studying religions in the UK. Other international study of religions bodies in the IAHR are listed here.
